Services for Children-Family

These services are designated to support and assist individuals by providing client transportation, role modeling, behavior management assistance, family respite and/or supervision within the home and community, observation of children, school supervision, physical, developmental and/or severely emotionally disturbed children and adolescents.  Programs served under Services for Children/Family are:
  • Family Support Services - Through this program families receive support services, within their home, which assists them in caring for their child(ren) who is developmentally disabled.
  • Respite Care - This service provides supports to families, in the form of taking care of a child with a disability in the family home, when the family member is not present.  This service is meant to serve as an opportunity for a family member to complete activities outside the home and not be concerned with the care of the child.
  • Family Care Option - This service provides longer term care of the child in the home of a respite care worker.
