Services for
Children-Family
| These services are designated to
support and assist individuals by providing client transportation, role
modeling, behavior management assistance, family respite and/or
supervision within the home and community, observation of children,
school supervision, physical, developmental and/or severely emotionally
disturbed children and adolescents. Programs served under Services for
Children/Family are: |
- Family Support Services
- Through this program families receive support
services, within their home, which assists them in caring for their
child(ren) who is developmentally disabled.
- Respite Care
- This service provides supports to families, in the
form of taking care of a child with a disability in the family home, when
the family member is not present. This service is meant to serve as an
opportunity for a family member to complete activities outside the home and
not be concerned with the care of the child.
- Family Care Option
- This service provides longer term
care of the child in the home of a respite care worker.
