Regularly scheduled, routine support, such as assistance in home care, personal care and shopping assistance are provided within the individuals' own home with the focus being to allow individuals to continue living in their own homes as opposed to nursing homes or more restrictive situations.  These services can be arranged by the individuals themselves (private pay) or contracted through county social services.
